Post Graduate Programs
(MBA)
Applications will be shortlisted based on:
* Past academic credentials.
* Valid score on either the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) OR Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by the All India Management Association OR Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs OR Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) OR score on the Auro University Entrance Test.
* Completion of Application Form, including statement of Purpose.
* Personal Interview.
Eligibility Criteria
* Bachelor's degree (10+2+3/4) from a recognized University / Institute in India or abroad, with a minimum of 60% marks or
* Student expecting their results by September 2011 may also apply for provisional admission.
Under Graduate Programs
(BBA & BSc, Hospitality Management)
Applications will be shortlisted based on:
* Past academic credentials.
* Students with marks between 60-69% will have to submit a valid score on either the Under Graduate Admission Test (UGAT) conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) OR score on the Auro University Entrance Test. Students with marks above 70% may, at the discretion of the Admission Committee, be exempted from appearing for any entrance test.
* Students who have scored less than 70% marks or equivalent grade in English will be required to submit their TOEFL / IELTS score or take the Auro University English Language Proficiency Test.
* Completion of Application Form including Statement of Purpose.
* Personal Interview

* Successful completion of Class XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade. Students expecting their results by September 2011 may also apply for provisional admission.
* Students appearing for their Class XII examination will be given provisional admissions based on their Class X performance.

ABOUT THE PROVOST
Prof. Kamlesh Misra graduated with Masters Degree in Economics from Allahabad University, India. After completing his Ph.D. from Northeastern University, Boston, he taught there as lecturer until 1990. He did his advanced training in Financial Management of Local and Regional Governments from Harvard Institute for International Development, Harvard University, Cambridge, USA. He served as an Economist at the Center for Social & Urban Research, Pittsburgh University from 1990 to 1994 when he returned to India to Join as HDFC Associate Professor at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi.
He served as the Director of the Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, New Delhi from 1996 to March 2000 and was the founding Director of Institute for International Management & Technology from 2000 to 2008. He was Director of G D Goenka World Institute, Gurgaon until September 2010. Currently, he holds the position of Vice Chancellor and Provost at Auro University, Surat Gujarat.
Prof. Misra has rich experience in institution building and has been a consultant to a number of educational institutions in India and abroad. He is known for his approach to quality in higher education and for putting systems and processes to serve the larger education community of students and teachers. He is credited with successfully running the first fully delivered foreign degree program in India. He has to his credit the establishment of three of the most successful foreign university (Bradford University, Oxford Brookes University & Lancaster University) collaborations in India.
Prof. Misra is known for creating some of the most successful business models in the education sector without compromising on the ethical dimensions of teaching as a profession. He is a team builder and has created institutions which are talked about due to their work culture and the free environment for academic pursuits.
Strategic Management, Management of Government Finances, Economic Restructuring and Economics of Industry are the areas of his special interest. Dr. Misra is author of five books and has written over fifty papers in refereed journals.
